Press Day in London

Around ten British specialized journalists and influential bloggers will be welcomed in London by Arnaud Valour, Communications and Marketing Spokesperson for Chablis Wines. They will be invited to taste a selection of prize winning wines from the 24th Chablis Wines Contest 2010. On the day attendees will be able to discuss the characteristics and specificities of these various Chablis Appellations.

The 6th Rally Discovery of the Tourist Route in the Yonne Vineyards

The Tourist Route of the Yonne Vineyards Association is organising its 6th Rally Discovery in the valley of Serain in the East of the Chablisian vineyard. By bike, horse and car, the participants will discover in a fun and festive way the Chablisian vineyard, its undulating landscapes and the architectural heritage of the region. They will be cordially welcomed by the wine growers of the area. The prizes will be given on the 16th of May in Auxerre to the winners of the quiz and the photo competition, during the " Fleurs de Vigne" wines festival.

Inscriptions are obligatory through the Chablis Tourist Information Office before the 13th of May.

10th edition of Grands Jours de Bourgogne

This 10th edition of an event featuring Burgundy wines, which attracts professionals from around the world, kicks off in Chablis on 22 March. There is a full programme featuring all five regions of Burgundy.

91 exhibitors from across Burgundy will be present for this tasting. This event is aimed at all market participants (particularly importers, wholesalers, wine shops, caterers, shops, restaurateurs, wine bars, wine waiters and chefs) as well as journalists.

The 24th Chablis wine competition: 16 January 2010 in Chablis

Like every year, wine growers and wine merchants will put their wines into competition during a tasting at Petit Pontigny, where the year's winners will be announced. Over 300 samples are put forward to the participants and a jury made up of 75 tasters (oenologists, technicians, brokers, restaurateurs, wine waiters, tasters, wine lovers and producers who are not affiliated to a competing merchant or domaine). Journalists of different nationalities will also be included in the jury this year.

Milly to host the 43rd Saint Vincent Tournante festival in the Chablisien on 6-7 February 2010

An unmissable event for all lovers of fine wines, foods and wine tourism, the Saint Vincent Tournante festival in the Chablisien will be held from 6-7 February 2010 in the charming town of Milly-Chablis in Yonne in Burgundy. The 43rd edition of this festival will be held for two days at the foot of the fabulous Côtes de Lechet. Each year this event attracts thousands of visitors and tourists from the four corners of the globe. During these 2 days there will be parades, events, tastings, enthronements but also the Wine growers' banquet for Saint Vincent. It will be a real homage to the world of wine.
