Chablis Grand Cru

The Chablis Grand Cru appellation is the jewel in the crown of Chablis with each vineyard producing different nuances. This appellation is unique and is divided into 7 climats, or vineyards, which appear on the label, with distinct, but nuanced characteristics. Here, Chardonnay displays wonderful variations on the same theme: Blanchot, Bougros, Les Clos, Grenouille, Les Preuses, Valmur and Vaudésir- harvested exclusively in Chablis and in Fyé on the slopes of the right bank of the Serein.
Its colour is a luxurious pure greeny-gold. On the nose, the mineral aromas are intense, giving way to lime blossom, dry fruit, honey and almonds. On the palate, the perfect balance between acidity and roundedness, between lively and dry, makes for an incomparable and authentic wine.
The complex subtlety of its aromas as well as the long-lasting aftertaste make it an ideal match for foie gras, lobster, crayfish, oysters and other luxury foods. It will complement fish as well as white meat and poultry dishes.
Chablis Grand Cru should be aged for 10 to 15 years, or sometimes more. Its yield is limited to 54hl/ha.
Serving temperature: 12 to 14 °C.
